๐ฅ Step 1: Enter Your Seed Keyword
First, open the free AlphaPost Keyword Research tool. Think of a simple topic in your niche, which we call a seed keyword. For this example, let us use the word "coffee" and hit search.
๐ฏ Step 2: Filter by Keyword Difficulty (KD)
Keyword Difficulty, or KD, is a score from 0 to 100 that shows how hard it is to rank on Google. If your website is new, you must target easy words to get quick traffic.
- โธKD 0 to 20: Very easy to rank. You can rank on page one within days.
- โธKD 21 to 40: Medium difficulty. You need a good, detailed helpful article.
- โธKD 41 plus: Very hard. Do not target these yet, dear.
๐ Step 3: Find the Golden Keywords
Now, we want keywords that have a decent search volume but a very low KD score. In the AlphaPost tool, set the filter for KD to a maximum of 25, and set the minimum monthly search volume to 500.
Dost, always look for long phrases that have four or five words. These are called long-tail keywords, and they are much easier to rank for than short words.
