Is AlphaPost really free?
Yes. The tool is free. You only pay for what you use of Google Gemini or GitHub Actions, but both have free limits that cover most users.
Will I be charged by Google?
Google Gemini gives you 1500 free requests per day. Most users do not get close to this. But to be safe, we suggest you set a spending limit of $1 on your Gemini API. This way, if your key is ever leaked or used too much, you do not get a big bill.
How do I set a spending limit on Gemini?
Go to Google Cloud Console, find your project, open the Billing section, and set a budget alert. We have a full guide here: Gemini Setup Guide.
Will the posts look like AI wrote them?
No. We work hard to make them read like a human wrote them. We do this by:
- Telling the AI to use simple words.
- Removing em-dashes that AI loves.
- Replacing AI words like "leverage" or "delve" with normal words.
- Removing AI phrases like "in conclusion" or "moreover".
- Mixing short and long sentences.
If you ever see AI words in your post, tell us and we will add them to our cleanup list.
Do I need my own blog already?
Yes. AlphaPost posts to your existing Blogger blog. If you do not have one, you can make a free one at blogger.com first.
Can I use it with WordPress or Medium?
Not yet. Right now we only support Blogger. WordPress and Medium support are on our plan for the future.
How many blogs can I connect?
You can connect up to 5 blogs in the free tier. If you need more, email us and we will see what we can do.
How many posts can I make per day?
It depends on your Gemini limit. Free Gemini gives 1500 requests per day. Each post uses about 2 to 3 requests. So you can make around 500 posts per day on the free tier.
Most users only post 1 to 5 articles per day. So the free tier is more than enough.
What if my Gemini key gets stolen?
Go to Google AI Studio and delete the old key. Make a new one. Update it in AlphaPost. If you set a spending limit of $1, the damage is small even if the key is misused.
Can I edit a post after the AI writes it?
Yes. Posts go to your Blogger blog like a normal post. You can edit them in Blogger any time, like any other post.
Can I save posts as drafts instead of publishing?
This feature is coming soon. Right now, posts are published live.
What languages does it work in?
Gemini supports many languages. You can tell the AI in your prompt: "Write in Urdu" or "Write in Spanish" and it will. The cleanup is mostly for English right now, but other language support is coming.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You can pause orders, disconnect blogs, or delete your account any time. We do not lock you in.
Do you keep my data after I leave?
No. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.
How safe is my Gemini key in your database?
We encrypt all keys with AES-256 before saving them. Only the tool can read them when it needs to make a post. We never store them in plain text.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet. But the website works fine on phones. You can manage your blog from your phone browser.
What if AlphaPost shuts down one day?
We will tell you 30 days before. You can export your settings and move to another tool. Your Blogger blog will keep working as normal because the posts are stored on Blogger, not on our server.
Can I see the source code?
Not yet. We may open source parts of the tool in the future. For now, we keep it private while we polish things.
