Free Keyword Research: Use Google Like a Pro! ๐ŸŽฏ

dear aur beheno, salaam! Naveed here, from AlphaPost. Many people think you need expensive tools for good keyword research. But guess what? Google gives us amazing data for free! Today, I'll show you how to find great keywords without spending a single rupee. Let's dive in, dost!

โœ… 1. Google Search Suggestions (Autofill)

This is super simple, but powerful. When you start typing in Google, it tries to guess what you're looking for. These guesses are based on what many other people search for.

  • โ–ธHow to use it: Go to Google. Start typing a broad topic related to your business or content.
  • โ–ธExample: If you sell coffee beans, type "best coffee". You'll see suggestions like "best coffee beans for french press", "best coffee maker under $100", "best coffee grinder".
  • โ–ธWhy it's great: These are real searches by real people. They give you ideas for specific content topics.

๐Ÿ”Ž 2. Google "People Also Ask" (PAA) Box

Have you ever seen that box in Google results that says "People also ask"? It lists common questions related to your search. This is gold for finding questions your audience has.

  • โ–ธHow to use it: Search for a keyword. Look for the "People also ask" box. Click on a question to expand it. More questions will often appear below.
  • โ–ธExample: Search "how to start a blog". You might see: "Is it free to start a blog?", "How much does it cost to start a blog?", "What should my first blog post be?".
  • โ–ธWhy it's great: These are direct questions. You can create content that answers these specific questions, making your content very helpful.

โฌ‡๏ธ 3. Google Related Searches

At the very bottom of almost every Google search results page, you'll find a section called "Related searches". These are other terms people searched for after or instead of your original query.

  • โ–ธHow to use it: Do a search. Scroll all the way down. See the list of related searches.
  • โ–ธExample: Search "healthy breakfast ideas". Related searches might include: "quick healthy breakfast", "healthy breakfast for weight loss", "easy protein breakfast".
  • โ–ธWhy it's great: It helps you find long-tail keywords (more specific phrases) that people use. These often have less competition and can bring targeted visitors.

๐Ÿ“ˆ 4. Google Trends

Google Trends shows you how popular a search term is over time. It can tell you if something is becoming more or less popular, or if it's seasonal.

  • โ–ธHow to use it: Go to trends. google. com. Type in a keyword. You can see its interest over time and even compare different keywords.
  • โ–ธExample: Compare "AI tools" with "cryptocurrency". You might see "AI tools" is growing fast, while "cryptocurrency" has ups and downs. Or, search "Christmas gifts" and see it peak every December.
  • โ–ธWhy it's great: Helps you pick topics that are currently popular or growing. Avoid spending time on fading trends.

๐Ÿ’ฐ 5. Google Keyword Planner (Free with Google Ads Account)

This tool is part of Google Ads, but you don't have to spend money on ads to use its keyword research features. It gives you estimated search volumes and competition levels.

  • โ–ธHow to use it: You need a Google account. Go to ads. google. com and set up an account (you don't need to run ads). Find "Tools and Settings", then "Keyword Planner". You can choose "Discover new keywords" or "Get search volume and forecasts".
  • โ–ธExample: Type "online marketing course". It might show you "1K-10K" average monthly searches and "Medium" competition.
  • โ–ธWhy it's great: This is the closest you'll get to real search volume data for free. It helps you choose keywords that have enough people searching for them.
Pyare dost, remember this: The best strategy is to combine these methods. Start broad, then dig deeper using suggestions, questions, related searches, and finally check volume with Keyword Planner. This way, you get a full picture!

You don't need fancy, expensive tools to do amazing keyword research. Google gives us everything we need right there. Use these free methods, and you'll be well on your way to creating content that people are actively searching for. Keep learning, keep growing!
